The Olympic Discovery Trail consists of 135+ miles of bike trails, from Port Townsend to La Push, WA, and is part of the Rails-To-Trails Conservancy. Discover E-Bike offers rides on the East Central and West Central Segments of the Trail.
Riders must be 12 years or older to rent from Discover E-Bike. Max weight capacity is 380 lbs. Child Trailer and Trike available - please call to book.

SELF-GUIDED - 2 Hour Ride: Waterfront Trail

Beginner Ride:

Explore the Waterfront Trail to Morse Creek and Ediz Hook. This 16-mile round trip ride has beautiful views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca, the Olympic Mountains, Victoria, the San Juan Islands, and Mt. Baker. Look for sea glass on the rocky beach, spot otters, eagles, and seals, and, if you're lucky, you might spot a pod of orcas.

Cruise along the Port Angeles Waterfront and Marina to the stunning Elwha River Trail. This is a 23-mile round trip ride with time built in to picnic at the Elwha River Bridge. Take in the beauty of the river, a place where the salmon return stronger each year after the epic take-down of the Elwha Dam (see Films: Return of the River and Wild Hope.
SELF-GUIDED - 4 Four Hour Ride: Strait to Farm

Ride along the Strait of Juan de Fuca east towards beautiful Sequim. Meander through tree-lined trails with mountain views, across bridges, and into the Sequim Valley. Visit lavender farms, a cidery, and the charming Agnew Store. Two steep hills with switchbacks make this an advanced ride.
Friday Funday Special
A must-do autumn e-bike excursion for those who want an easy one-way pedal for 34 miles from Diamond Point (outside Sequim) to downtown Port Angeles along the paved Olympic Discovery Trail.
See some of the most breathtaking views of Sequim Bay, Salish Sea and the Olympic mountains along with plenty of seasonal stops at pumpkin patches, cideries, lavender and apple farms, Dungeness River Nature Center, Jamestown S'Klallam Tribal Center, and country cafes.
We shuttle you and your e-bike rental and you pedal back at your leisure
(up to 6 hours).
Take in the fall colors, waterfront vistas and harvest season attractions!

WHEN: Every Friday this fall from 10am to 5pm (bike riders must meet at Discover E-Bike in Port Angeles at 8:30am to get fitted for their bikes and receive riding instructions). The shuttle leaves at 10am. Your bikes must be returned by 5pm to Discover E-Bike.
COST: $150 per person (includes shuttle, e-bike rental, helmet, and a self-guided map of stops)

Limited to 10 riders. Open to children at least 12 years old. Riders must cancel within 48 hours of the tour date to get a full refund. Helmets included. Dress in layers and bring a rain jacket -- we are in a rain shadow so heavy rain is unlikely but we do have short periods of rain come and go.
